Evidence 1: Affordable HDB flats

Explain:
In this blog, the "owner" says that in her opinion, HDB flats are affordable but with overloading.

Evidence: Many young families with a combined income is able to afford a nice 4/5 rooms HDB without having much to worry. However the overloading here are that these young families might not be able to afford to have kids in the near future due to the high cost they had already put into their new flat and the high cost of having a baby. Also these young families cannot afford to suffer any retrenchment or any other events which will result in having only 1 income for the family. This is because the HDB flat which they had bought was based on their combined income and losing 1 income will mean that the other party will have a much higher financial burden to bear just to maintain the loan installments and sometime to the extend of not having enough money for living.

Evidence 2: Expensive HDB flat

HDB flats are expensive due to demand and supply.

The evidence is:

The newly weds, new citizens, and PRs, great influx of foreigners, needed houses for them to stay. HDB didn't build enough new flats therefore the prices of HDB flats are expensive.
